Repair burned-in subtitle strips
Footage from editors often ships with subtitles burned into the picture, making reuse impossible. This repairs the subtitle strip by interpolating surrounding picture — pick a preset strip or enter custom regions, and the strip is reconstructed across every frame. For footage you own.

Frequently asked questions
How tall is a typical subtitle strip?
Most bottom subtitles sit inside the bottom 12-20% of the frame; 16% is a safe default. Text peeking above the strip means you need a taller strip.
Does it work on fading karaoke subtitles?
Yes for static strips; karaoke-style colored text on busy backgrounds may leave faint smearing inside the repaired strip.
